Pervasive.SQL® and Pastel Accounting®

Pastel Accounting is but one of numerous applications which uses Pervasive as a database. Various other commercial accounting and business software applications are utilizing Pervasive. Numerous banks, restaurants, hotels and retail stores in South Africa have developed in-house applications with Pervasive as their database of choice.

Pervasive is not the exclusive database for Pastel products and may be purchased separately in a similar manner as Microsoft SQL for example.

Crystal Reports 2008®

For the year 2009, we will not be reselling Crystal Reports.

Development of add-on applications to Pastel® Accounting systems

We were one of the first companies to develop add-on applications for Pastel Accounting. Since 1993, we have developed more than 80 customized applications for specific customers.

Our add-on applications vary from user-friendly reporting systems to external invoicing modules, production control systems and a serial number tracking system. Our main objective is the delivery of customized software applications on time and within budget. We are able to translate a customer’s operational requirements into software packages that contribute to the clients’ competitive advantage.
